PROGRAM DOWNLOADS

 

In order to properly view all of the information on this site, you will need to have the correct programs configured on your computer. There are a few types of programs you will need.

PDF Reader

Most of the downloadable forms and documents on our site are in PDF format. These files can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat. Many of the files will not display or print correctly if an old version of Adobe Acrobat is being used. If you are having trouble with some of our PDF files, please try installing the newest version of Adobe Acrobat before contacting us.

Online Courses


Our new online courses use Adobe Flash for the audio role plays and videos.  You will need to have the latest version of Adobe Flash installed, you can download it from the link below.

 Media Player

To play the audio and video files we have in our training area you will need a media player. We use a few different formats for the audio and video files.

For audio files we use real audio or mp3. To play the real audio files you will need Real Player. To play the mp3 files you will need any player that plays mp3s. Since Real Player will play both real audio and mp3 files we recommend installing that if you do not have another media player.

For video files we use real video or windows media. To play the real video files you will need Real Player. To play the windows media files you will need Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player comes installed with Windows.

All of the audio and video files on our site are marked with what kind of file they are.

Web Browser

The current design of the "Designers Only" area of the Home & Garden Party Website requires a newer web browser to display fully. It will still display and function correctly with an older browser, but it will not look as intended. We recommend using Firefox 2.0 or newer or Internet Explorer 7 or newer. All of these are free downloads at the links below.

Downloadable Files

Certain files found on this website (ie. Video, Audio, PDF) can be downloaded directly onto your computer for viewing or listening at your leisure. The steps required to perform this action are as follows:

  1. Click with the right mouse button on the link to the file.
  2. Click with the left mouse button on the menu item "Save Target As" or "Save Link As".
     
  3. Select Desktop from the "Save in:" Drop-down box.
  4. Click with left mouse button on the save button.
  5. Go to your Windows desktop
  6. Double-click on the file that you just downloaded.
