DEAL OR NO DEAL BOOKING GAME!!
Materials needed:
Display Board: or for simplicity you can use a file folder
Cases: Print off these sheets which include 15 images of a case. They are numbered 1-15.
Card Stock: 15 small squares on which you can attach a case.
Velcro: to attach your cases to the board, or tape to attach to a folder
Chips: Something to hand each guest with a number 1-15. Suggestion: Use blue and red porker chips marked with a black marker.
Prizes: Use paper notes, labels, tags or etc to indicate prizes won associated with numbers. Prizes can include:
5 - “You win me, a party, $5,000 auction dollars and a Free ________”. You can use excess product you have wrapped as bonus gifts, or specials you have purchased, or 5% extra hostess credits, a bonus ½ price item, etc…whatever you feel your budget allows. Keep in mind our hostess program is very generous and this is just an added incentive for playing the game and helping the hostess. As an option, you can award 17.50 in Free HGP products at your Party (your cost is $5.00) 2 – “You win $1000 Auction Money.” 1 – “You win $5000 Auction Money.” 2 – “You win $3000 Free Auction Money and a free jar candle.” 1 – “You win 1 Free 10oz. Jar Candle” 2 – “Host a Buddy Party and win a Free Bean Pot (Parties Must total $400 or more)” 1 – “You win 50% off 1 item on your order.” 1 – “You win $3000 in auction money and a prize from my basket.”
How to Prepare for the Game:
Print off the cases and cut out each one. Attach each one to a heavy square. On the back of each square attach each prize by simply writing the prize on a note or tag. You can tape, velcro or paper clip each prize. An option is to use your card stock to create a pocket to put your prize into it. Put bright squares behind each case to jazz up the game board. Then use a small piece of Velcro to hold the suitcase onto each square (in the handle area). For simplicity you can put your cases on a file folder…simply open up the folder to display all 15 cases. A big board is fun but is more to carry and to upkeep. Try both and see what works best for you. Change the prizes on back around occasionally if you do this a lot, especially if you have repeat guests!
How to Play:
Give each guest a numbered poker chip.
Just before having your customers order, tell them we are going to have a quick game that can earn them extra special prizes tonight! Behind each case are special prizes like free jar candles, extra auction $$$, other free gifts, or a free $17.50 gift of your choice at your HGP Party. “Now as you trust that I will pay out the free gifts, I also trust you to book & hold your party if that’s what you win”. Say, “DEAL OR NO DEAL?”
Ladies, this is an optional game to help our hostess. If you are going to book a party then you definitely want to play, if you are thinking about having a party than you probably should play, if you absolutely do not want Holly Hostess and I to come to your house with a few of your other friends than you definitely do not want to play. Who has seen deal or no deal on TV? What are in the cases? (MONEY!) Correct. Is it the same amount of money in all the cases? (NO) Right, just like the game, my cases have different dollar amounts and prizes. The way we play is this. The banker will give you $2000 to take the deal and look inside your case. It could be auction $ and a free gift or it could be auction money, me and a free gift! With that said, who hear knows for sure they want a deal? Go around the room and ask each person. Gabi Guest, what number do you have? (4) For $2,000 do you want to see what’s in case #4? Is it a deal or no deal? After I ask everyone once. Then, I go back to those who said no deal and offer them more $$ to take the deal. Usually you can read who is on the fence or not. I do not give the cases out until everyone has played or passed. Then once we finish, I let them see what they won, date their parties and take orders. Side note: I know which #’s are freebies (without parties) if someone picked a freebie, before I show them their case I offer $5,000 bonus auction $$$ if they know for sure they are having a party regardless of what’s in their case!

You can also make a sponsoring “DEAL OR NO DEAL” Board, and have Designer Benefits on the back of each case. Have 4-5 cases say $25 off your kit when you join HGP and sell $1500cv. It’s just a fun way of sharing the HGP opportunity.
